The upper level of this home was an addition from about the 1970's.  We remodeled this uninspired but large space into a generous Mater Suite with a contemporary character that still feels at home with the classic woodwork and iron work details downstairs.  A large tapered shaft and skylight bathe the Master Bath in flattering soft light.  This is a 'Warm Modern' design, with plate glass walls and clean proportions, detailed in traditional high quality materials.  The new wall of mahogany cabinets echos the detailing of the rest of the house and brings the original home's high level of finish into the Master Bedroom.
